OB have partnered with a rapidly scaling AI-native consultancy who are looking for a Lead AI Engineer to help build and deploy production-grade LLM systems powering next-generation AI products.

This role is fully hands‐on, ideal for someone passionate about building real, production-ready AI systems rather than focusing solely on experimentation or presentations. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and data specialists to design and deploy LLM workflows, agentic architectures, and retrieval systems that address complex, real-world challenges at scale.

What you’ll work on

• Designing and building LLM-powered applications

• Developing LLM workflows and architectures in production environments

• Implementing RAG pipelines and retrieval systems

• Building agentic systems using modern AI frameworks

• Pair programming and collaborating with engineers in Python

Requirements

• Strong Python engineering experience

• Hands-on experience building LLM applications in production

• Experience with RAG, LangChain, LangGraph or agentic systems

• Background in software engineering or data science
