Lead Site Reliability Engineer - Tech for Good - Remote - £80-90K

Oliver Bernard are currently working with a Tech for Good client of ours, whose platform supports a large-volume end-user environment across the UK. They're looking for an experienced Site Reliability Technical Lead who can combine deep technical expertise with leadership, driving platform reliability, automation, and architectural excellence while mentoring engineering teams

For this opportunity, the following experience is required:

• Cloud experience with AWS
• Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
• IaC with Terraform (building modules, not just consuming templates)
• CI/CD work with GitHub and / or GitLab
• Strong history of Monitoring and Observability (with Prometheus and Datadog)
• Solid understanding of incident management and response
• Experience operating within high-scale production environments

The business is heavily investing in an AI-first engineering approach, so they’re looking for engineers who actively embrace AI tooling within their workflows (eg. utilising Claude, Cursor or other AI assistants).

This is a remote opening for strong Lead SREs, and can offer £80-90K on the base salary, plus benefits.
