Senior Analytics Engineer

Senior Analytics Engineer London (Hybrid, 3 days on site) DBT, Looker, SQL, AQS £70K-£75K

OB are working with a fast-growing e-commerce company that values innovation, data-driven decision-making, and building a business that's both impactful and sustainable.

In this role you'll be the bridge between raw data and powerful insights, owning the design and build of well-tested, well-documented, production-ready dbt models that power analytics and data science.

What you'll be doing

• Building and maintaining SQL data transformations in dbt.
• Owning standards for data modelling & setting best practices across the business
• Working with product engineering teams to ensure source data is fit for downstream use
• Partnering with analysts & stakeholders to create clean, intuitive datasets in Looker
• Strengthening our reporting layer and developing more self-serve analytics capability
• Identifying opportunities for optimisation & automation across the data stack

You have:

• Strong dbt experience
• Excellent SQL and performance optimisation skills
• Solid understanding of Git
• Experience with BI tools (ideally Looker)

Bonus points if you have:

• Looker + Looker API experience
• Python for automation / integrations
• AWS experience
