OB are supporting a leading investment firm in London as they continue to expand their R&D and Data capability with the hire of a Senior Data Engineer.

This position sits at the heart of the business, focused on building and scaling a high-performance data platform that underpins critical analytics and research initiatives across the firm.

The role will involve:

• Leading development of the firm’s core data infrastructure

• Driving architectural decisions and engineering standards

• Improving scalability, reliability, and performance of existing systems

• Partnering closely with senior leadership and research teams

• Evaluating and implementing modern data tooling and best practices

Tech stack / experience required:

✔ Strong Python and SQL engineering experience

✔ Snowflake

✔ DBT

✔ Airflow

✔ 5+ years in Data Engineering

✔ Strong academic background in STEM / Computer Science

Package:

💰 Up to £100k base salary + strong guaranteed bonus

📍 Central London (5 days onsite)

🇬🇧 Candidates must already be UK-based
