Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure) - Contract (Inside IR35) - London

I'm looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a specialty insurance client in London on a 6-month Inside IR35 contract. This role will play a key part in building, supporting, and optimising the Azure cloud estate during a period of growth and transformation.

Contract Details

• Inside IR35
• £600-£700 per day
• 6 months with a strong view to extend
• Hybrid working in London 2/3 days per week onsite

Important Candidates must have hands-on experience working with insurance clients within the last 3 years. This is essential.

Role Overview

• Design, build, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure across IaaS and PaaS services
• Deliver infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Support CI CD and GitOps workflows alongside development teams
• Provide proactive and reactive operational support
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors

Experience Required

• Strong hands-on Azure infrastructure experience
• Proven Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
• PowerShell or scripting experience
• Experience working with CI CD pipelines
• Good understanding of cloud security and networking
• Recent insurance or specialty insurance experience within the last 3 years is mandatory
