Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer - 6 Month Contract Belfast (2 days onsite) | Contract

Oliver James has partnered with a well-established UK pensions and professional services organisation to appoint an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer on an initial 6-month contract. The business operates nationally across multiple UK offices and is undertaking significant enhancement of its internal CRM capability.
This role sits within the Technology function and will focus on the development, enhancement and support of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales) platform, helping the organisation improve how it manages client relationships, operational workflows and internal data processes. It is well suited to a hands-on Dynamics developer who enjoys owning solutions end-to-end and working closely with delivery teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure and customise Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales) entities, forms, views, dashboards and business process flows.
- Develop scalable CRM solutions using plugins, workflows, JavaScript, Power Platform components and Azure integrations.
- Build and manage integrations between Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365 and external systems or APIs.
- Support data migration, system upgrades and environment management across the Dynamics landscape.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and delivery teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot, optimise and enhance existing CRM functionality while maintaining engineering best practices.
- Contribute to technical documentation, standards and knowledge sharing across the technology team.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and the Power Platform.
- Experience delivering Dynamics 365 migrations or upgrades, particularly within Dynamics Sales.
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft technology stack.
- Hands-on experience developing custom Dynamics applications, workflows and business processes.
- Experience working within Agile or DevOps delivery environments.
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
- Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Exposure to the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g. SharePoint, Teams).
- Experience integrating Dynamics with APIs or third-party platforms.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for backlog management and release processes.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale CRM implementations.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, training or enablement to internal teams.
- Experience contributing to developer forums or technical capability initiatives.
