Director of Claims and Data Product Strategy

Oliver James have partnered with a Global Financial Services Client who are looking for a strategic and innovative product leader to shape the future of litigation tracking solutions. In this role, you'll define product vision and strategy, drive roadmap execution, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that address critical needs across insurance, legal, and financial domains.

You'll be at the forefront of transforming complex litigation data into actionable insights, working with stakeholders such as claims managers, underwriters, actuaries, and legal experts. What you'll do:

• Define and deliver product strategy and roadmap for litigation tracking solutions.

• Translate customer needs into features and MVPs, working with engineering and data teams.

• Lead customer validation and prototype testing to ensure product-market fit.

• Analyse market trends and competitive dynamics to inform positioning and growth.

• Working with 3rd party providers to improve the data flows with a drive to using AI.

Experience Required:

• Experience in both Claims Processes and Product strategy.

• Strong knowledge of litigation data, workflows, and systemic risks.

• Experience with AI applications, data enrichment, and integration strategies.

• Familiarity with Jobs-to-Be-Done (JTBD) frameworks.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.

This is a remote role with occasional travel to London. You must be located in the UK and have full right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
