Overview

We are seeking a Head of Technology, AI & Data to lead the development, integration, and evolution of our business systems, data platform, and AI capabilities. This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategy, delivery, and team building in a fast-paced, low-bureaucracy environment.

About the Role

This role has been created following the departure of our Head of Business Systems and offers a unique opportunity to reshape and expand the function. You will oversee core systems (HR, CRM, Practice Management, ERP) while building AI, automation, and product capabilities from the ground up.

You will report into the Director (who reports to the CTO) and work closely with senior leadership to drive innovation across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the operational management and integration of all core business systems (HR, CRM, ERP, Practice Management, etc.)
  • Lead data integration and ensure a robust, scalable systems architecture
  • Develop and deliver a reporting and MI suite
  • Build and scale AI, automation, and engineering capabilities across the organisation
  • Define standards, best practices, and toolchains for development and delivery
  • Lead the design and build of new products in a fast but robust way
  • Manage and grow a high-performing, low-bureaucracy team
  • Remain hands-on while setting technical and strategic direction
  • Influence and engage senior stakeholders, including C-suite

Key Requirements

  • Strong engineering background with hands-on build experience
  • Proven experience building and deploying AI and automation solutions in a business environment
  • Experience integrating multiple business systems and managing systems of record
  • Demonstrated ability to build products and deliver at pace
  • Ability to operate across strategy, execution, and operations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including C-suite engagement
  • Tech stack agnostic mindset with the ability to select and implement appropriate tools
