IT Project Manager – Professional Services (Infrastructure Projects)
Our client, a large international professional services organisation, is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join its established project delivery function. The role reports to an IT Programme Manager and will take ownership of multiple high-profile, business-critical technology projects.
Role Overview
The IT Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of infrastructure-focused projects, working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers. This is a hands-on delivery role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and technical teams.

Role Overview
The IT Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of infrastructure-focused projects, working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers. This is a hands-on delivery role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver projects through the full lifecycle, including design, supplier onboarding, planning, build, test, deployment and lessons learned.
- Manage internal project teams and external suppliers on a day-to-day basis.
- Create and maintain MS Project plans, track dependencies and report progress against milestones.
- Own and maintain RAID logs, driving resolution of issues and mitigation of risks.
- Engage technical teams and stakeholders, providing clear and consistent updates.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with IT, business teams and vendors to define requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Produce regular reporting on project status, budgets and forward planning.
- Lead, motivate and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
- Manage service introduction and handover to support teams, including documentation.
- 5+ years' experience delivering infrastructure-related projects.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure design, implementation and service transition.
- Proven experience managing external suppliers/outsourced service providers.
- Background in a professional services environment.
- PRINCE2 (or equivalent) certification.
- Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience within legal or wider professional services sectors.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure) and SaaS delivery models.
- Understanding of application design and the software development lifecycle.
