They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to help them progress in the correct strategic direction and carve out one of their key business units. You will be engaging with teams across the business to carry out this exciting work!

The Role:

Are you a proven Project Manager coming from a systems and network background looking to join a global leader?

We are on the lookout for a professional to grab a hold of this delivery and carve out the primary business in this organisation. You will be looking at the businesses tech stack and contracts to ensure they are operating fully separate from with the wider organisation and can function properly.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the end to end IT infrastructure carve out, separating the business onto its own technology environment.
  • Coordinate 4/5 workstreams across systems including M365, SAP in Azure, security platforms and reporting tools.
  • Act as the central project lead, bringing together internal IT teams and external suppliers to deliver the programme.
  • Manage vendor relationships across partners.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies while providing clear updates to senior stakeholders.

Your Profile:

  • Must be based in South Wales
  • Proven experience delivering complex IT infrastructure projects with multiple workstreams
  • Previous hands-on technical background across infrastructure, networks, systems or applications
  • Experience ideally migrating M365 or exposure
  • Strong experience managing 3rd party suppliers
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

Client Overview: Our client, a key player in the Manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join their Change Management team. This is a contract position offering the opportunity to contribute significantly to critical infrastructure projects and IT-driven change initiatives.Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of project activities related to IT infrastructure and change management.
  • Manage project scopes, timelines, and budget to ensure successful project execution.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Provide consistent and clear communication to project teams and stakeholders about project status, risks, and issues.
  • Coordinate with technology vendors and suppliers to acquire necessary resources and support.
  • Implement strategies to mitigate risk and address any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Key Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in leading IT projects within the Infrastructure and Change Management sectors.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex budgets and timelines.
