Contract Product Manager - Insurance

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with solid insurance expertise to join on a contract basis. This role is focused on digital journeys - building and optimising self-service platforms, quote & buy journeys, and low-friction customer experiences across home and motor insurance.

You will act as the link between business, technology, and the customer, ensuring that digital products deliver measurable value while meeting regulatory and customer expectations.

• Own and manage the product backlog and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business outcomes.

• Collaborate with UX/UI and engineering teams to deliver seamless customer journeys.

• Define clear requirements and ensure the development team is set up for sprint delivery.

• Use data and insights to identify improvements and run experiments (A/B, MVT) to validate features.

• Deliver effective communication to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.

• Drive initiatives such as reg look-up, drop-off reduction, and customer self-service.

• Proven background as a Product Manager within the insurance sector (home or motor insurance strongly preferred).

• Strong knowledge of digital journeys, including self-service and quote & buy platforms.

• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to balance customer, business, and technical priorities effectively.
