Corporate Tax Manager

The Role

As Corporate Tax Manager, you’ll take ownership of a high-profile portfolio of VC and PE-backed tech startups, scale-ups and entrepreneurial ventures. This isn’t just compliance — you’ll be a trusted advisor to some of the UK’s most exciting founders, providing support from seed stage through to Series C (and beyond).

Expect a mixture of:

• Hands-on advisory and structuring work
• Guiding founders through R&D Tax Credits, EIS, SEIS, EMI schemes and other niche reliefs
• Working closely with internal teams and external investors
• Playing a key role in strategic decision-making for your clients
• Managing a small, talented team with scope to grow
• Having a clear, visible path to partnership from day one

What You’ll Need

• CTA qualified (or ATT with outstanding experience)
• Strong background in corporate tax, ideally within the startup/tech ecosystem
• Confident working with fast-moving, ambitious clients and advising at a high level
• A polished, credible communicator who can win trust quickly
• Genuinely ambitious - this is a succession plan hire with leadership opportunities ahead
