🚀 Be part of one of the UK’s fastest-growing fintech scale-ups 🚀

📍 London (Hybrid)

💸 Up to £125k + Benefits

Omnis Partners is engaged with a fast-growing fintech shaping the future of digital financial services. As the business grows, they’re investing in a next-generation, self-serve data and AI platform designed to handle high-volume, real-time workloads.

This role sits at the heart of that transformation.

The vision? Build an intelligent, developer-first platform that enables teams across product, engineering, and analytics to seamlessly access and operationalise data while laying the groundwork for AI-native and agent-driven systems.

Why this role stands out:

🌍 Core infrastructure impact: Support real-time payment processing and business-critical analytics at scale.

⚙️ Cloud-native & event-driven: Work across Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, streaming architectures, and distributed systems.

🧠 AI-integrated platform: Help shape infrastructure designed for LLM-powered workflows, ML services, and autonomous agents.

🏗 End-to-end ownership: Build reusable services, internal tooling, and scalable backend components.

🤝 Cross-functional influence: Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering stakeholders to define data contracts and platform standards.

What you’ll be doing:

• Architect and develop high-performance backend services (Java, Go, or Python).

• Build and optimise real-time data streaming and event-based systems.

• Create internal developer tooling to improve reliability, observability, and self-serve capability.

• Operate and scale multi-cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and IaC tooling.

• Explore and implement emerging AI/ML technologies where they add real business value.

Ideal background:

We’re looking for engineers who combine strong systems thinking with modern AI exposure. Experience in areas such as:

• Backend engineering in Go, Java, or Python.

• Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines.

• Event-driven design, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture.

• Observability tooling (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Exposure to LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain), AI agents, or ML infrastructure.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

AWS or multi-cloud certifications are highly advantageous, particularly across security, ML, or solutions architecture domains.

Why join?

• Join a scaling fintech transforming the European financial ecosystem.

• Play a defining role in shaping AI-ready platform infrastructure.

• High autonomy and real architectural influence.

• Solve genuinely complex, real-time engineering challenges.

• Collaborative, office-led culture focused on innovation and technical excellence.
