A high-growth digital consumer brand is looking for a Head of Analytics & Data Science to lead and enhance a modern analytics and data science function that directly shapes business performance.

The role
You’ll take ownership of a multidisciplinary analytics and data science team covering product, marketing, and commercial insights. Your focus will be to elevate the team’s analytical output, cement credibility across senior stakeholders, and deliver insights to inform product, customer, and growth decisions.
Reporting into the Director of Data, you’ll be a trusted strategic counterpart — helping to set direction for data-driven decision making across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of analysts and data scientists spanning product, growth, and commercial.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to define and deliver the analytics roadmap.
- Drive analytical rigour and storytelling that influences decision-making at board and leadership level.
- Oversee experimentation and advanced modelling projects (LTV, next-best-action, customer retention).
- Support the use of data science techniques amongst traditional analytics to improve the sophistication of the use of data internally
- Modernise BI and reporting, improving data trust and self-serve capabilities across the organisation.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience leading an analytics function (including Data Scientists) in a fast-paced digital or consumer business.
- A strategic, commercially-minded thinker who enjoys challenging assumptions and driving clarity from data.
- Strong technical literacy and hands on skills with SQL, data visualisation tools and Python, and a strong grasp of experimentation frameworks such as A/B testing.
- A collaborative leader able to inspire teams, manage managers, and partner effectively with Product, Data, and Commercial leaders.
