We’re supporting a consultancy on a high-intensity discovery and diagnostic programme within a large, complex organisation.

The data sits across multiple platforms, pipelines and domains with limited standardisation or governance.

There’s strong ambition around AI but no clear definition of:

• what “AI” means in practice

• what use cases are viable

• or whether the data foundations can support it

👉 Your role is to cut through the noise.

This is a fast-paced (2-month), high-impact engagement where you’ll:

• assess the current data landscape

• define what’s actually happening vs what’s assumed

• align stakeholders on realistic AI ambitions

• and identify the gaps, risks and opportunities to move forward

🎯 What We’re Looking For

👉 Strong background in data architecture + platform assessment

👉 Proven experience running data / AI discovery or diagnostic engagements

👉 Ability to operate at both:

• strategic level (framing ambition, defining roadmap)

• hands-on level (interrogating pipelines, platforms, data flows)

👉 Experience working in fragmented / legacy data environments

👉 Strong understanding of AI readiness and realistic use case definition

👉 Comfortable being client-facing in ambiguous environments

👉 Experience within consultancies or similar advisory roles is highly valuable
