Omnis Partners is working with an early-stage, stealth AI infrastructure startup building a foundational layer of the AI ecosystem, the systems that define how frontier models are assessed, trusted, and continuously improved in production environments.
Rather than building models themselves, the team focuses on the infrastructure that surrounds model performance: establishing evaluation frameworks, producing high-quality structured datasets, and enabling rigorous testing across mission-critical domains such as finance, healthcare, and legal services.
At its core, the company is developing a “trust and evaluation layer” for AI, combining expert-led data creation, structured assessment environments, and tooling that makes model behaviour transparent, measurable, and continuously optimisable.
⚙️ The Role
As a Member of Technical Staff, you’ll take ownership of the internal platform powering the company’s data generation and evaluation engine.
You’ll design and build the systems that allow small teams of engineers and domain experts to produce high-quality structured datasets at scale, including workflow orchestration, annotation tooling, review pipelines, and data integrity systems.
This is a deeply hands-on role with significant product ownership. You’ll work closely with founders and domain specialists to turn complex, often manual workflows into robust, scalable software products.
Expect full-stack responsibility, architectural input, and meaningful influence over product direction from day one.
🧩 What You’ll Be Doing
• Build and maintain the end-to-end platform for data creation and model evaluation workflows
• Design systems for task routing, expert allocation, review loops, and quality control
• Develop pipelines incorporating LLMs for assisted annotation and automated validation
• Convert real-world, manual processes into scalable internal software products
• Collaborate directly with founders and subject matter experts on product decisions
• Help define engineering standards, system architecture, and tooling as the company scales
