Role Overview

We are hiring a Member of Technical Staff for AI Engineering — a senior individual contributor role at the frontier of AI development. The role combines research-grade rigor with production engineering — building the systems that turn cutting-edge AI into real products.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build novel AI systems, including training, evaluation, and inference

- Lead research-engineering projects across model architecture, alignment, and reliability

- Build and maintain large-scale training and inference infrastructure

- Develop evaluation frameworks for novel AI capabilities

- Publish or present internal technical work that advances the practice

- Set technical direction and mentor other AI engineers

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 6+ years in machine learning research or AI engineering at significant scale

- Deep expertise in modern deep learning, including transformer architectures

- Strong PyTorch (or equivalent) skills and distributed training experience

- Track record of shipping AI systems with measurable impact

- Excellent written communication, including technical documentation

- PhD in CS/ML or equivalent industry experience preferred
