THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, target-oriented sales professional to join a fast-growing global events technology business. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base across the UK&I and EMEA Regions.
Working closely with operations and delivery teams, you will help deliver tailored event technology solutions to corporate clients across conferences, exhibitions, and live events. This role is ideal for someone with B2B sales or account management experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and enjoys building long-term client relationships.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive retention and growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to closing deals
- Convert inbound leads into confirmed sales and maximise conversion rates
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and revenue goals
- Monitor pipeline performance and maintain accurate sales forecasts
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities through account analysis
- Maintain CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) with accurate and up-to-date information
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and event technology solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored client solutions and ensure smooth project delivery
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE...
- 1+ years’ experience in sales, account management, or a similar B2B role
- Experience in IT or technology sales (preferred)
- Events industry experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to manage sales pipelines and achieve targets
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Strong commercial awareness and a proactive, results-driven mindset
- Excellent telephone-based sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
