Role Description
The Sales Team Leader (EMEA & NA) is a commercial leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, client retention and sustainable performance across the full client lifecycle. Leading the Partnership Success Team, you will strengthen client satisfaction and expansion while providing structured commercial oversight to Account Managers and Business Development Managers. Balancing strategic thinking with operational performance management, you will protect margin, drive upsell opportunities and ensure disciplined execution in a fast-paced, globally aligned tech event environment.
The Day Job
- Lead and develop the Partnership Success Team, driving accountability and commercial performance
- Deliver client retention, repeat revenue and account expansion through structured growth plans
- Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Oversee the full commercial lifecycle from enquiry to long-term partnership
- Protect margin through disciplined pricing and pipeline management
- Coach and performance manage Account Managers and BDMs against KPIs
- Ensure sales best practice, structured reporting and account planning
- Align Sales and Partnership Success to maintain consistent regional standards across EMEA & NA
Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience leading client success, account management or commercial sales teams
- Strong commercial instinct and margin management experience
- Proven track record of revenue growth and retention
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Analytical, structured and data-led approach
- Confident performance manager and coach
- Experience in events, technology rental, staffing or service-led industries preferred
