New Business Sales Consultant - Primary Care
Role Introduction Are you a proactive, strategic, and ambitious sales professional looking to make a meaningful difference in UK healthcare? Or a Sales Development Representative looking for a step up? We’re looking for a New Business Sales Consultant to join our growing Primary Care sales team. In this role, you’ll help drive digital transformation across GP practices, PCNs, ICBs, and wider healthcare organisations by introducing industry-leading solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency. This is a high-impact position where your work directly supports the evolution of Primary Care across the NHS. What You Will Do Drive New Growth
- Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities across the Primary Care market.
- Actively build your own pipeline through outbound prospecting and by working closely with marketing and SDR teams on qualified inbound leads.
- Understand the challenges faced by practices and commissioners — from operational pressures to financial constraints — and position our solutions to make a measurable difference.
- Manage the full sales cycle end-to-end: from first conversation to signed contract.
- Ensure consistent follow-up, clear communication, and a first-class customer experience.
- Engage key stakeholders including Practice Managers, GPs, Clinical Directors, PCN leaders, and ICB commissioners.
- Become a trusted partner and advocate for digital innovation across Primary Care.
- Keep up-to-date with NHS policy changes, funding routes, and digital transformation initiatives to guide your conversations and strategy.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure customer needs are met and insights are shared.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in Salesforce, providing clear updates on progress, performance, and forecasts.
- A proven track record in B2B sales — healthcare or SaaS experience is a real advantage.
- Experience selling into Primary Care or NHS organisations (highly desirable).
- Strong knowledge of PCNs, ICBs, and NHS procurement pathways.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A self-driven, “hunter” mindset with a passion for solving real-world customer problems.
- Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative, fast-moving team.
