\n This role is hybrid, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in our Birmingham office.

- Own and deliver category strategies across HR and Professional Services, driving commercial value and efficiency
\nLead end-to-end sourcing activity, including negotiation of complex commercial and contractual agreementsManage supplier selection, onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing performancePartner with stakeholders across HR, Finance, Legal and Professional Services to influence decision making and embed procurement best practiceSupport the delivery of cost savings targets while balancing risk, quality and business needsManage supplier contracts and scope to ensure strong commercial outcomes and prevent scope creep on delivery projectsContribute to the development of procurement processes, tools and policy as the function continues to matureDrive a more proactive, data-led approach to procurement across the organisationSupport key strategic initiatives including technology implementations and outsourced service delivery\n

- Strong experience in strategic supplier procurement
\nProven track record of leading complex contract negotiations, including commercial and contractual termsExperience across Professional Services and/or IT services procurement (e.g. implementation partners, consulting, SaaS)Ability to independently manage supplier agreements, working closely with Legal where requiredStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at senior levelsCommercially astute, with a clear understanding of cost drivers, risk and value creationExperience operating in fast paced or evolving environments, with the ability to manage ambiguity and competing prioritiesResilience, pragmatism and a delivery focused mindset\n
