Quick bit of context first.

We're a cyber security compliance startup based in Sunderland. We automate the painful, expensive stuff. ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, SOC 2, and the rest. Most tools on the market tell you where your compliance gaps are. Ours fixes them at the click of a button, then keeps watching so they stay fixed.

We started in 2024, we've raised over £2m, and we're growing fast. The UK cyber and information security market is set to be worth around £16bn by 2029, and most businesses still treat compliance like a chore they keep putting off. That's the gap we're closing, and there's a lot to go at.

This is a full-cycle sales role. You own it end to end. You find the lead, you run the demo, you close the deal. No waiting on marketing to hand you warm prospects, no passing deals off to someone else to finish. From first contact to signature, it's yours.

Day to day, that looks like:

  • Building pipeline from scratch. Outbound, inbound, events, your own network.
  • Running discovery calls and demos. You'll know the product inside out, because you'll be the one selling it.
  • Closing. Negotiating, handling objections, getting the deal over the line.
  • Telling the product team and the founder what the market actually wants, so we build the right things.

Who we're looking for:

  • You've sold B2B before and you've closed before. SaaS experience is a big plus.
  • You're happy doing the unglamorous bits. Yes, that includes cold outreach.
  • You can hold a technical conversation, or you're sharp enough to learn one fast. We'll teach you the cyber side.
  • You want to build something, not slot into a machine that already runs itself.
