Our client is a fast growing international business within the network infrastructure sector. They are seeking a Customer Account Sales Manager to develop existing accounts and generate new business opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual with an interest in telecoms, datacomms or technical infrastructure to join a growing and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio
- Develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone and email
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Promote fibre optic and passive network infrastructure solutions
- Support contractors, engineering firms, integrators and end users
- Manage quotations, tenders and project responses
- Ensure customer commitments are met regarding quality, delivery and cost
- Maintain excellent levels of customer service and communication
- Identify market trends and future opportunities
- Conduct competitor and market analysis
- Deliver presentations, workshops and product demonstrations
- Support trade shows, industry events and networking activities
- Contribute to sales growth and margin performance
- Work closely with internal technical and engineering teams
- Develop monthly and annual action plans
- Monitor KPIs, pipelines, quotations and sales activity
- Maintain accurate CRM records and customer information
- Support forecasting and reporting activities
- Participate in regular sales and project meetings
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience within Account Management, Technical Sales or Business Development
- Experience within Fibre Optics, Telecommunications, Datacomms, Network Infrastructure or similar technical industries preferred
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
Additional Information:
- Full product and industry training provided
- Some travel may be required for customer meetings
- Commission starts after completion of 6 months training
