Data Analyst | Southend | 17.5 hours per week | Up to £37,035 Pro Rata

The Role

My client is currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join their team, providing accurate and insightful data analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making. Working closely with the Data Manager, you'll help manage and improve data within a Salesforce-based CRM, ensuring reporting is accurate, audit-ready and compliant with regulatory standards, while driving continuous improvements in data quality and business intelligence.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting & Analysis

  • Analyse datasets across services, housing and rent accounts to identify patterns, trends and insights, including quarterly and year-end reporting.
  • Produce clear, accessible reports and dashboards to help teams and senior management monitor KPIs, outcomes and performance.
  • Support the production of data required for board and regulatory reporting, including Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) and Consumer Standards evidence.
  • Support the centralisation of rent, service and tenancy data within In-Form, ensuring information used for reporting is accurate, complete and audit-ready.

Data Quality & Systems

  • Identify and resolve data quality issues to improve the accuracy and reliability of reporting.
  • Train and support staff on correct data entry practices to maintain data integrity across organisational systems, including In-Form.
  • Manage system administrator privileges responsibly, in line with data governance requirements.
  • Support the Data Manager with the configuration, testing and implementation of the refreshed In-Form (Salesforce) CRM, contributing to report and dashboard development using Microsoft Power Platform tools.

Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with internal teams and external partner organisations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Data Manager and colleagues across services to understand reporting requirements and translate data into meaningful business insights.

GDPR & Data Protection

  • Ensure all organisational data is managed in accordance with GDPR, Data Protection policies and current legislation.

Confidentiality

  • Handle personal, confidential and sensitive information relating to clients, staff and partner organisations with the highest level of discretion at all times.

Budget

  • Ensure any expenditure associated with the role remains within approved budgets and financial authorisation limits.

What You'll Need

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is confident analysing large datasets and identifying patterns, trends and anomalies.
  • Has advanced Microsoft Excel skills and can produce clear reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Has experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system, ideally including report/dashboard development or supporting CRM implementation (training will be provided on In-Form).
  • Has excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines while working flexibly within a part-time schedule.
