System 42 Engineer
Role Overview
Support integration of new vehicle programs into OEM Production Control systems. The role involves working with production planning and engineering teams to configure and validate manufacturing data, vehicle configurations and software versions prior to production build phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Production Control systems (Production42 / System42) configuration and validation
- Analyse and resolve DL24 / Data Logistics errors
- Support ASV releases and baseline validation for production builds
- Update and validate vehicle manufacturing data (VIN, ECU software, configuration data)
- Support updates in manufacturing systems including:

- BCS
- Manifest / FIS Forms
- IFA Vehicle configuration system
- Participate in production readiness activities for VFF, PVS, OS and SOP builds
Required Skills
- Experience in automotive production / manufacturing systems
- Understanding of vehicle ECUs and software configuration
- Experience analysing production or manufacturing data issues
- Strong troubleshooting and cross-team communication skills
Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
- System42 / Production42
- DL24 / Data Logistics
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Vehicle production configuration systems
- Automotive OEM manufacturing environment
