The Goal

As EMEA Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving OpenBet’s enterprise growth across the region. Reporting directly to the Chief Business Development Officer, you will focus on identifying, developing, and closing new sportsbook platform opportunities, while supporting complex, high-value sales cycles end to end.

This is a hands-on business development role combining new business hunting, enterprise sales execution, and deal progression, working closely with internal stakeholders to move opportunities from initial conversation through to signed contract.

What will your role be?

You will act as both an independent deal owner and a trusted commercial partner to senior leadership, supporting pitch preparation, leading client engagements, and ensuring opportunities progress efficiently through commercial agreement, contracting, and early delivery alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new enterprise sportsbook platform opportunities across EMEA through proactive prospecting and relationship building
  • Identify, qualify, and progress new leads, partnerships, and strategic opportunities
  • Support and lead client pitches, proposals, and commercial presentations
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with the Chief Business Development Officer on strategic opportunities, pitch preparation, and deal execution
  • Support commercial discussions and negotiations, including pricing and deal structures
  • Coordinate internal teams (legal, finance, product, delivery) to progress deals post-commercial agreement
  • Support contract finalisation, project planning, and workshop preparation to drive deals to signature
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking forums to generate new leads and market insight
  • Identify and support cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across OpenBet’s wider product portfolio, including trading, SportsCast, Neccton, and geolocation solutions

The Player

Qualifications & Skills

  • You bring significant experience in enterprise B2B business development or sales, ideally within sports betting, iGaming, SaaS, or regulated technology environments
  • You are comfortable hunting for new business across multiple EMEA markets and managing long, complex sales cycles
  • You have strong commercial awareness and confidence supporting deal structuring and negotiations
  • You enjoy working cross-functionally, partnering with legal, finance, product, and delivery teams
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, with strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • You are organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities at different stages
  • You are willing to travel across EMEA as required
