You'll work on cutting-edge web applications using Laravel, React, Next.js and TypeScript while helping shape the future of digital service delivery and AI-assisted workflows.

The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will work across backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure and platform integrations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building and maintaining complex workflow-driven web applications
  • Developing scalable solutions using Laravel, PHP and PostgreSQL
  • Building modern user interfaces with React, NextJS and TypeScript
  • Integrating third-party APIs, identity services, payment platforms and notification systems
  • Writing high-quality, test-driven code using modern development practices
  • Participating in architecture discussions, security reviews and technical decision-making
  • Supporting cloud deployments and platform reliability
  • Contributing to AI-powered features, including validation, automation and intelligent workflow enhancements
  • Collaborating with engineers, DevOps specialists, security teams and stakeholders
  • Supporting the rollout of new products and service offerings

Technical Skills & Experience

To be successful as a Senior Full Stack Developer, you should have:

Essential

  • 3+ years' commercial Full Stack Development experience
  • Strong PHP development experience, ideally PHP 8+
  • Experience with Laravel or Symfony frameworks
  • Strong React development experience
  • Experience with NextJS and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • PostgreSQL database development experience
  • Experience writing automated tests using PHPUnit, Pest or similar
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
  • Git version control and collaborative development workflows
  • Experience working within structured SDLC environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable

  • TypeScript experience
  • InertiaJS experience
  • AWS cloud or serverless platform experience
  • CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions
  • Sentry or application monitoring tools
  • Playwright, Cypress or end-to-end testing frameworks
  • Multi-tenant application development
  • Experience working within public sector, fintech, healthcare or other regulated industries
  • Exposure to AI-assisted software development tools
