Location: Omagh (Northern Ireland)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Shift / Hours: Monday to Friday

The Role
This role is responsible for the design, implementation, support, and ongoing improvement of IT infrastructure and associated security controls. The position combines hands-on infrastructure engineering with security responsibilities, ensuring that systems remain available, resilient, secure, and compliant with recognised standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR-aligned controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain core IT infrastructure.
- Ensure systems remain reliable, available, and performant.
- Support servers, networking systems, and core services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Implement and maintain security controls across the IT environment.
- Support endpoint protection and monitoring solutions.
- Assist with vulnerability management and incident response.
- Ensure systems align with internal policies and recognised security standards.
About You:
- 5+ years' experience in an IT Infrastructure or Security Engineering role
- Strong knowledge of: Windows Server /Active Directory / DNS / DHCP
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, switching, routing)
- Experience supporting security controls and endpoint protection
- Strong troubleshooting and incident handling skills
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 or security audit processes
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and incident response
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, Security or ITIL
