Senior C++ / C# Developer - Commodities - London

Working for a commodity trader we are recruiting a Senior C++ Developer within a background in financial services, ideally from a trading + risk systems background.

The Role

As a member of a skilled global team of software engineers, you will play a role in developing exciting new trading platform. The customers are varied; traders, analysts, researchers and data scientists.

Essential Skills:

• 5 years C++ experience
• 3 years of experience working with C# and related .NET technologies
• Experience with RDBMS and SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Experience working in cloud technologies: AWS, Docker, Azure
• Self-motivated
• Excellent English oral and written skills

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in gRPC
• Experience in Reactive Extensions (RX)
• Previous experience in the commodities and/or finance industry (hedge funds, investment banking, private banking).
• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science or an equivalent field
