About the Role

• Architect, design, and build scalable backend systems and APIs using Python.
• Write, review, and maintain clean, testable code.
• Contribute to technical strategy, architecture decisions, and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a high-performing team culture.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Drive innovation in AI integration, automation, and system scalability.
• Ensure systems are secure, performant, and maintainable.

About the Candidate

• First-class or strong degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally in AI, SaaS, or automation platforms.
• Deep expertise in Python; familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and microservices-based systems.
• Familiarity with development methodologies, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and cross-functional engineering teams
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

About the Package

• Base Salary - £100k - £150k + Equity
