About the Role
- Architect and build scalable backend systems and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Design and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures for real-time workflows.
- Develop backend services, integrations, and data processing systems.
- Integrate backend systems with AI models and automation workflows.
- Ensure systems are secure, performant, and reliable in production.
- Implement monitoring, observability, and incident management practices.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction and engineering standards
About the Candidate
- 7+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production environments.
- Experience designing and building scalable APIs and backend architectures.
- Experience working with microservices or event-driven systems.
- Strong understanding of data modelling and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and modern development practices.
- Previous experience leading projects or mentoring engineers..
