Sales Executive

Location: Bury St Edmunds Hybrid (mix of office and remote working) Salary: Basic between 25k-30k + Competitive Commission (Uncapped OTE of circa 50k)

Job Purpose

They are seeking a motivated, professional, and organised B2B Sales Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing the full sales cycle - from initial contact to closing deals and nurturing long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively source and generate leads through cold calling activities, industry and business networking, face to face meetings and social media.

  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.

  • Conduct customer meetings at all levels, including boardroom presentations.

  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations.

  • Prepare and present quotations and proposals aligned with customer budgets and company profit margins.

  • Close sales efficiently and effectively.

  • Provide ongoing account management to retain and grow existing clients.

  • Collaborate with a supportive and experienced team to achieve individual and company goals.

  • Update, manage, and maintain CRM systems and supplier portals.

Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in B2B sales

  • A self-starter with strong drive to succeed and exceed targets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and opportunities.

  • Professional appearance and conduct, with the ability to engage decision-makers at all levels.

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, supplier portals, and sales tools is a plus.
