Azure Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to play a key role in designing and shaping enterprise-wide data solutions. Working across a range of technology initiatives, you will provide architectural leadership, ensure alignment with best practices, and help deliver scalable, secure, and business-focused data platforms.

Essential Skills & Experience

Experience in data architecture design, modelling techniques, tools, and industry standards.
Ability to present architecture solutions to governance and technical review boards.
Knowledge of Data Modelling, MDM, Metadata Management, and Data Governance.
Experience with event-driven architectures, including pub/sub and data streaming patterns.
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerisation, networking, and cloud best practices.
Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments, including CI/CD practices.
Proven ability to support and shape technology projects, programmes, and strategic initiatives.

Desirable Skills

Strong data communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Knowledge of data governance, modelling, standards, and metadata management.
Ability to translate business requirements into effective data architecture solutions.
