Project Manager

We're supporting a major utilities organisation on a business-critical transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a tender and supplier engagement initiative. The role requires an average of 1 day per week on-site and it will be inside IR35 and PAYE by us here at Opus.This role will suit someone with a strong background managing projects involving procurement, tender processes, supplier selection and third-party vendors, alongside experience delivering technology-enabled change. You'll work closely with procurement and business stakeholders to manage project delivery, governance, timelines and supplier relationships throughout the lifecycle of the programme.We're particularly interested in individuals with experience in the utilities sector, or those who have managed complex supply chain operations and vendor ecosystems within large organisations.

• Project management of tender, RFP or procurement-led initiatives
• Supplier and stakeholder management
• Third-party systems and integration projects
• Utilities or complex supply chain environments
• Governance, risk and regulatory exposure
• Strong communication and delivery skills
