The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of digital services through the design, development, and maintenance of robust automated testing solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in test automation, a passion for quality engineering, and experience working within complex, large-scale environments.Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated test solutions for both UI and API layers
- Develop and enhance test frameworks and automation suites to improve efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
- Execute automated and manual testing where required, ensuring full test coverage
- Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
- Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines by integrating automated tests
- Contribute to best practices in quality assurance and test engineering
- Proven experience in test automation across UI and API testing
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks and test design principles
- Experience working with common testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, or similar)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into delivery workflows
- Experience in Agile/DevOps environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of non-functional testing, including:
- Performance testing
- Security testing
- Accessibility testing
- Understanding of relevant testing standards, tools, and methodologies
- Multiple roles available
- Candidates must be eligible for security clearance
- Locations across the UK (excluding London) with a hybrid working model
