Test Engineer- 3-6 month contract
Contract: 3–6 months | Start: June Rate: £350/day (Inside IR35) Location: Remote with ad-hoc travel to Newcastle We’re looking for a Test Automation Engineer / SDET to join a delivery team focused on improving the quality, reliability, and confidence of automated testing. The Role You’ll play a key role in strengthening testing practices by:
- Identifying and raising risks highlighted by automation test results
- Implementing existing and introducing new test frameworks
- Improving overall confidence in testing across the team
- Mentoring and advising team members on best-practice testing approaches
- Strong experience in test automation
- Proficiency in Python, Java, SQL
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Bash)
- Confident working across teams and influencing testing standards
