The Role:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable infrastructure solutions using the latest cloud-based technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to automate processes, improve deployment pipelines, and ensure the seamless integration of new features and updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform
- Automate deployment and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Manage and optimise Kubernetes clusters and containerised applications
- Develop and maintain Python-based scripts and tools to streamline DevOps processes
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate API-driven workflows
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application-level issues
- Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and security
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Proficient in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation
- Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in building custom tools and scripts
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Understanding of API design and integration, including RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Competitive salary of £65,000 per annum
- 2 days per week on-site in Bristol, with the option to work remotely the rest of the week
