Mid level Full Stack Ruby React Developer - Fixed Term Contract (9 months)

Location: Central London (2 times a month)

Salary: £60-75k

Role: My client is looking for a talented Mid-Level Full Stack Developer with 3-6 years of experience to join their team. You will be working with Ruby and React to develop and enhance their innovative products.

Responsibilities:

The engineer going on leave has been with the company for eight years and brings strong domain knowledge. This role will focus on stewardship, including responding to issues, working closely with internal stakeholders, monitoring systems, and collaborating across the team. Initially, the emphasis will be on maintenance and support, with scope to assist on new features over time. The work is largely ticket-based, and the product is in a strong position with a low bug rate. The focus is therefore on raising standards, improving performance using newer technologies, and refining an already well-maintained codebase rather than firefighting.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Ruby (React) development.
• Strong understanding of web development principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in Central London twice a month.
