£45,000 – £75,000 + equity (negotiable), Pension, 22 days Holiday + Bank holidays

If you’re an Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer and fancy yourself in a more commercially focused role as a Implementation Engineer who wants ownership, influence, and technical depth — not just ticking boxes this role is worth a look.

This is a chance to join a growing SaaS business in financial services and insurance as the second Implementation Engineer, embedded in a Data Engineering team of four.

The work is data‐heavy, regulated, and genuinely impactful where implementation quality really matters.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading customer onboarding and SaaS implementations
• Translating business needs into technical solutions
• Working on integrations, data flows, and platform configuration
• Being the technical authority during implementation not a go‐between

What they are looking for:

• Experience implementing SaaS products
• Exposure to financial services, insurance, or regulated environments
• Strong technical judgement with client‐facing confidence
• Someone who wants to build, improve, and take ownership
• Proficiency in SQL (MySQL preferred) and scripting languages like Python.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve data quality, transformation, and mapping issues.
• Comfortable leading client discussions and extracting requirements from ambiguity.
• Someone that can analyse complex client datasets (Excel, CSV, PDFs, bank feeds) and identify required transformations.

Nice to haves:

• Familiarity with AWS, ETL pipelines, fuzzy matching logic, or financial data models.
