Are you ready to dive into the world of independent cinema and be a key player in revolutionizing how people experience movies?
I’m working with a client in Shoreham who are looking to add a Lead React Developer to the team, you’ll be working within the TV and Film industry, providing the ultimate destination for unique films and thrilling premieres.
As the Lead React Developer, you won't just be leading the charge; you'll be the managing a small team of 3 whilst still keeping yourself busy hands-on coding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and mentor your team to conjure up top-notch deliverables that'll make waves in the streaming realm.
- Partner up with designers and stakeholders to cook up technical solutions.
- Dive into the action with hands-on coding that sets the gold standard for best practices.
- Working with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban, ensuring our projects the deadlines
- Provide code reviews and constructive feedback.
- Take a hands-on approach in coding, ensuring the team follows best practices and delivering high-quality code in JavaScript, Node.js, React, and React Native.
Requirements:
- Ideally a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, however this isn’t a key requirement.
- Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and React for 5+ years, bonus points for React Native
- Leading and mentoring a team
- Drive the continued use of agile software development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and ensure effective project management and delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex technical issues and provide practical solutions.
In return you’ll be offered a salary of up to £85,000 and hybrid working, going into the office 2-3 days a week.
