Ruby Engineer / Outside IR35/ Hybrid Working / 12 Month Contract
- Extensive expertise in Ruby on Rails, with a strong track record of building and scaling web applications.
- Advanced front-end development skills, specializing in JavaScript, React, Vue.js, and similar frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other database systems.
- Familiarity with a range of technologies, such as Angular, Node.js, and React, ensuring versatility in development.
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure using AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in RESTful API development and seamless integration into applications.
- Strong grasp of release management tools (Atlassian), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance at both application and database levels.
- Proactive leadership and mentorship, guiding junior team members effectively.
- Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, adept at juggling multiple priorities efficiently.
