Senior Frontend Developer
A Senior Frontend Developer is required with strong skills in Front End web development for complex, performant web apps with strong React.js, Typescript, and ideally GraphQL to join a growing and creative web team at a European tech scale-up that develops high-end user-centric digital notebooks for note-taking, and has a strong software engineer and people-centric culture.
London - Hybrid 2 says per week (Near Paddington) Salary Circa £80-100k + Benefits (30 days holiday)
Key skills required for the Senior Frontend Developer
- At least 4+ years' experience in Front End or full-stack web development with a Front End focus
- Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript and Tailwind, and ideally GraphQL in medium to large-scale codebases
- Solid understanding of Next.js and modern Front End architectures, and Front End standards and best practices
- A user-experience-focused mindset with attention to performance and usability
- Experience in developing web apps for iOS OR Android would also be an advantage
- Experience building data-driven interfaces that integrate multiple information sources
- Comfortable collaborating within cross-functional teams alongside UX/UI designers, product managers and QA engineers
- Experience with design systems and hybrid applications (beneficial)
- Degree in Informatics or a related discipline (beneficial)
- Build engaging, high-performance Front End web apps, and experiences from concept through to production
- Contribute to the development and evolution of modern web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Sanity, Sentry, Vercel and GCP
- Maintain and enhance existing web applications within a growing digital ecosystem
- Optimise Front End performance and improve observability across applications
- Influence Front End standards, tooling decisions and architectural discussions
- Champion strong engineering culture through clean code, automated testing, documentation and peer code reviews
- Share knowledge and discoveries within the wider engineering community
- Join a collaborative, forward-thinking engineering team working with a modern web stack
- Play an active role in shaping Front End discipline, tooling and ways of working
