Virtualization Sales Specialist
Job Description As a Sales Specialist, you will be a key player in our EMEA sales strategy, focusing on Linux Virtualization solutions. Your primary objective is to drive revenue growth and expand our presence within the virtualization market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of software sales experts. What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of 10 years of software sales experience is essential, with a focus on infrastructure solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of virtualization platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift, Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM is mandatory.
- Proficiency in understanding Kubernetes and container orchestration is highly desirable.
- Experience with VMware environments (VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, vSAN, etc.) and Oracle Cloud solutions (OCVS, OCI) is advantageous.
- Ability to comprehend hybrid cloud architectures and cloud migration strategies, particularly for VMware workloads.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach to develop virtualization strategies.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Revenue Generation: Lead the charge in increasing revenue by selling Oracle's Linux Virtualization offerings to prospective clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Solution Selling: Educate clients on the benefits of our virtualization technologies, including licensing, pricing, and future roadmap developments.
- Territory Management: Develop and execute sales strategies for your assigned territory, identifying target companies and creating effective marketing plans.
- Deal Management: Forecast, manage, and close deals, ensuring a seamless sales process.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with solution consultants, business development teams, and peers to deliver customized solutions.
