Senior Golang Engineer

Senior Backend Engineer (Go) — London | Onsite

We're hiring an experienced Go Engineer to help build and scale high-throughput, real-time data platforms. You'll work closely with product and data teams to design systems that reliably ingest, process, and deliver market-scale data — with a big focus on performance, resilience, and clean engineering practices.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and building high-throughput backend services
• Owning technical decisions + improving system performance
• Integrating multiple external data + API sources
• Writing scalable, well-tested, maintainable Go code
• Collaborating with data + infrastructure teams

What you'll bring

• Strong experience building scalable, reliable backend systems
• Proficiency in Go
• Experience with relational + non-relational DBs
• (PostgreSQL + Redis = big plus)
• Solid testing mindset (unit, integration, E2E)

Nice to have

• Experience with websockets / streaming / queues
• Real-time data platforms
• Interest in fintech / digital assets
