Our client is currently looking for a Backend Developer in our production team in Genoa.  Applications are welcome from candidates in the UK who are eligible to work and can provide the necessary documentation

Responsibilities for the Backend Developer include:

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using the Microsoft .NET framework and related technologies like C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
• Participating in requirements analysis, collaborating on software design and architecture
• Writing clean and scalable code performing thorough testing and debugging, and deploying applications
• Providing ongoing technical support and documentation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with teams to produce software design and architecture, write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages (e.g., C#, VB.NET, F#), and develop applications for various platforms including web, desktop, and cloud.
• Test and deploy applications and systems, ensuring high-level performance and responsiveness, and addressing bugs and defects.
• Revise, update, refactor, and debug existing code, improve software functionality, and provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications.
• Create and maintain documentation throughout the SDLC and work effectively with internal teams, including designers, testers, and project managers.

Candidates applying for the Backend Developer role will need:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with proven experience as a .NET Developer
• Strong knowledge of the .NET framework, proficiency in at least one .NET programming language (e.g., C#), and familiarity with technologies like ASP.NET, SQL Server, and architectural patterns (e.g., MVC).
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to identify and resolve software defects.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders and understanding of Agile methodologies.
