Cloud Project Consultant

Our client is seeking a Cloud Project Consultant to join their expanding team. We also welcome candidates from the UK to apply. You will need a valid passport and be able to communicate in English and Italian.

Location:         Hybrid role = Bologna or Milan

Responsibilities for the Cloud Project Consultant role include:

• Supporting clients in the implementation, management, and optimisation of cloud infrastructures to ensure security and efficiency
• Involvement in project activities for Italian and European clients in the Finance sector
• Business requirements analysis and solution design on Google Cloud Platform or Azure
• Configuration and management of cloud environments: Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM
• Integration and optimisation of Microsoft Windows environments, including Active Directory configurations and hybrid infrastructures
• Migration of on-premises workloads and applications to the cloud
• Implementation of CI/CD pipelines for automation and continuous deployment
• Management of OpenShift environments in cloud and hybrid settings
• Adoption of best practices for security, monitoring, and governance
• Training and support for client teams to ensure operational continuity
• Production of detailed technical documentation and reports

Candidates applying for the Cloud Project Consultant role will need:

• Several years of experience in IT consulting, preferably in the cloud domain
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Microsoft Windows environments and Active Directory
• Proficiency in CI/CD methodologies and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of networking, storage, and identity management in cloud environments
• Familiarity with the financial sector and its regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of automation/scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
• Excellent communication skills, including in English
• You have participated in large-scale cloud migration projects
• You have worked in Agile or DevOps environments
• You enjoy engaging with high-profile clients and designing custom solutions
• You are passionate about the cloud world and stay up to date with the latest technologies
• You are autonomous, proactive, and strongly results-oriented
