Location: Netherlands – Hybrid role, onsite every Tuesday
Duration: Minimum 1 year, with possible extensions
Our client is looking for a Senior Active Directory Administrator to work within the Defence IT environment. You will work within the Datacentre section and play a key role in maintaining and improving the Active Directory infrastructure.
Responsibilities for the Senior Active Directory Administrator role include:
- Administration and optimisation of the Active Directory environment.
- Troubleshooting issues and performing installations (lifecycles).
- Reducing operational workload through automation and structural improvements.
- Contributing to the maintenance and development of the Defence IT infrastructure.
- Writing and maintaining system documentation.
- Providing end-user guidance and support on delivered IT solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with technical and security requirements.
- Standby Duty: Once every 5-6 weeks, from 18:00 to 07:00 including weekends.
- Offboarding period: last month requires on-site presence 3–4 days per week.
Candidates applying for the Senior Active Directory Administrator role include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server in a large and complex environment (5,000+ users).
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and federated integrations.
- Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
