Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their team to support their business.

Responsibilities for the Senior Business Analyst role include:

• Play a pivotal role in facilitating the deployment of applications and systems across diverse geographical locations
• Ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless integration for the commercial risk business.
• Relationship management involves working directly with colleagues in country to understand their processes and requirements.
• Analysing the local processes and requirements to then assist in the development of global processes and solutions.
• Producing a range of Business Analysis outputs including, but not limited to, business requirements, business process diagrams, use case diagrams, user stories, user journeys.
• Liaising with Product Owners and Solution Architects to ensure the development process is efficient, effective and transparent to the business.

Candidates for the Senior Business Analyst role will need:

• Greater than 15 years’ experience in large-scale insurance projects – knowledge of insurance concepts and terminology. 
• Interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with leading business and technical subject matter experts. 
• Flexibility to work with diverse teams from different countries and cultures. 
• Self-motivated and able to take leadership on areas of work assigned. Advanced business analysis skills and analytical ability to understand complex subjects and transfer that knowledge into required deliverables. 
• Experience in producing a range of Business Analysis outputs, including, but not limited to, business requirements, business process diagrams, use case diagrams, user stories, user journeys.
• Fluent English and one of German, Flemish, Dutch or French. 
• Team coaching, mentoring experience. 
• Negotiation, influencing, and conflict management skills. 
• Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and business analysis methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). 
• Proficiency in requirement gathering, process mapping, and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio). 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment. 
• Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is desirable.
