Account Manager - Cyber Security

Role Summary:
The Account Manager role is responsible for owning and executing growth plans across an existing client portfolio. This role acts as the primary commercial point of contact for clients, ensuring they achieve their cybersecurity goals while driving adoption of the Orpheus platform and services.
The role combines client relationship management, commercial ownership and cross-functional collaboration. It is focused on helping clients realise clear value from their relationship with Orpheus, while identifying opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, renewal and long-term partnership growth.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Own the client relationship across an existing portfolio, building trusted partnerships and ensuring strong alignment with client goals, priorities and success measures. Conduct regular business reviews and maintain a clear understanding of each client’s evolving needs.
Growth & Retention: Deliver strategic revenue growth by owning and executing growth plans for existing clients. Identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell, drive account expansion, and proactively own renewals by demonstrating continuous value and mitigating churn risk.
Adoption & Value Realisation: Drive client adoption of the Orpheus platform and services, helping clients realise practical and measurable value. Work closely with clients to support technical adoption and ensure long-term success, working in collaboration with our analyst team when appropriate.
Escalation & Problem Solving: Act as an escalation point for technical or commercial challenges, working collaboratively across the business to resolve issues effectively and maintain client confidence.
Voice of the Customer: Represent the customer voice internally by sharing constructive feedback and real-world use cases with the wider Orpheus team. Help improve client outcomes by ensuring client insight informs product, service and commercial thinking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across commercial, product and delivery teams to support client success, strengthen account performance and ensure a high-quality client experience.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven track record in a customer-facing technical sales, account management or client partner role within a SaaS or B2B cybersecurity environment, with at least 2 years’ experience.
• Strong ability to translate complex and technical concepts into clear business value for stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, drive clear resolutions and maintain commercial focus.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded, with experience supporting account growth, renewals and expansion conversations.
Preferred Background:
• Experience working in cybersecurity, cyber risk, or closely related technology environments.
• Experience supporting existing client portfolios in a commercial client role.
• A solid understanding of modern security frameworks is preferred but not essential.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
