2nd/3rd Line Support MSP/Hybrid
We're working with a growing Managed Service Provider in Manchester who are looking to bring in an experienced 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer to strengthen their technical team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a varied client base and wants to stay hands-on with a broad tech stack in a fast-paced MSP environment.
The RoleYou'll be acting as an escalation point for 1st/2nd line, while also getting involved in project work and infrastructure improvements across multiple clients.
Day-to-day, you'll be:
- Act as an escalation point for complex 2nd/3rd line issues across multiple client environments
- Administer and support Windows Server environments ()
- Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune)
- Support and maintain Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure AD, networking, storage)
- Work extensively with Active Directory (GPOs, permissions, replication, group structures)
- Troubleshoot networking issues (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls)
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working within an MSP environment (essential)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments
- Experience with:
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Azure
- Active Directory
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
- Comfortable working across multiple clients and priorities
- Strong communication skills
